Terms of use

Use Urlito to share responsibly. These terms apply to the short-link and QR tools.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Your use of the service

By using urlito.com, you agree to these terms. You are responsible for the destinations and content you submit and must have the rights and permissions needed to share them.

Unacceptable use

  • Phishing, malware, credential theft, fraud, or deceptive destinations.
  • Illegal content, exploitation, harassment, or violations of others’ privacy or intellectual property rights.
  • Spam, attempts to bypass verification or quotas, and activity intended to disrupt the service.
  • Using short codes as a way to protect confidential content or control access.

Links and external websites

A short link opens an external website controlled by someone else. Urlito does not endorse that website or guarantee its safety, accuracy, legality, or availability. Review the destination shown in the preview before continuing.

QR codes can encode either an external destination directly or a Urlito short link. You are responsible for checking the encoded content and testing downloaded codes before distribution.

Availability and limits

The service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access or permanent link hosting. Creation limits, verification, features, and availability may change. Do not rely on Urlito as the sole way to access critical information.

We may refuse creation or disable links that violate these terms or present abuse concerns. Disabled or expired codes are not reassigned to new destinations.

Responsibility and applicable law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties, and we are not responsible for losses caused by external destinations, outages, or misuse of the tools. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy, reports, and updates

Read our Privacy page for information about data handling. Use Report a link to raise a concern. We may update these terms; the date above identifies the current version.
